Amouage Opus IX is a perfume of dominance with a heady rush of peppery floral notes led by a sweet, resonant camellia tone and jasmine: joyous, hedonistic and carefree. The heart is rich, bucolic and substantive: woods, leather, and beeswax. The dry-down, sings with a rich, animalic touch that feels passionate, redemptive and bittersweet. But for all of Opus IX's complexity, it never for a moment becomes overly heavy or unwearable - in fact, its gorgeous composition maintains a loveliness and a unisex suitability. It doesn't fit an occasion or an outfit. It's one spray, full of jasmine dancing around Arabian themes. Smooth and rough at the same time and so incredibly complex. It smells peppery from the nozzle, but sings on the skin.

Journey Man by Amouage starts off with a fiery roar filled with Sichuan peppers and spices in a golden, boozy flame. A perfect balance is achieved with the richly fruited sweetness with a cognac note. Swirls of incense and an oud-like cypriol woodiness, combined with a streak of leathery resins in the base. The slow transformation into a lovely creaminess shouldn’t be underestimated. Tobacco notes are perfectly balanced with soft tonka bean and subtle musk are the final touches to this complex fragrance that will grab your attention from the beginning.
Journey Man by Amouage was created by master perfumers Pierre Negrin and Alberto Morillas.
Memoir Man is a Fougère, a strong combination of Lavender and Oakmoss freshen up by the addition of basil and mint. and the further aspect of Absinth. The top notes start with a soft opening, leading into the heart notes of sandalwood and a rich base of vanilla, amber and musk. Tobacco and leather are added to spice up and smoothen this amazing symphony of scents.

Opus X by Amouage is an intriguing creation suitable for both women and men.
It opens with a fresh bouquet of may rose and red rose. After a while geranium note appears introducing a sweet and sensual aroma, for later to become stronger and greener from the geranium whose leaves are fresh, aromatic, even slightly minty. Then the leather note joins, making this composition more heavy, but in a very gentle way. You will not feel the metallic accord until the dry-down, when ylang-ylang joins to make it warmer. The oud lends it deep note to give a structure to the scent. The finishing notes of ambrarome add peppery, yet very subtle touch.
Opus X has a high longevity and is suitable for day and night.
Amouage’s Beloved Man is a soothingly spicy, confidently comfortable, macho scent with hidden depths. It starts off with a robust but restrained burst of fresh, aromatic and spicy notes, as pepper and cardamom kick in to add a brightly tart grapefruit and piney essence as well as balsamic elemi. As the subtly sophisticated fleur middle notes start to rise, a rich chord of saffron gives a yummy, savory depth. A stout, earthy base featuring leather and guaiac radiates effortless masculinity. Beloved Man is a powerful gem in the world of perfumes. Beloved Man feels exactly as it has been intended: a macho, deep and strong.
Amouage Ciel For Men practically bursts alive with its freshness of rich, decadent, floral scents. Like a rain-shower on a hot summer afternoon, it cools and invigorates the surrounding. Using the intensity of silver frankincense and sensual woodsy tones such as precious sandalwood and cedarwood, it leaves an inner sense of softness and serenity. As time passes by, Ciel becomes more and more “masculine”, dry and earthy, with a whiff of smoke too, with a decided green-white mood. It reflects the warmth of the sun, as well as the pure masculinity of the wearer.
In Dia Man, Amouage came up with a fragrance that perhaps of all its products most closely mirrors the spirit of its home country, Oman. Dia Man reflects the thirsty wilderness of the desert, the spices of Zanzibar, and the freshness of the Arabian Sea. Its opening is woody and dry, reminding of ancient caravans whirling along gravelly hills. Soon, the scent deepens and you are sipping your tea in a market, the essence of frankincense, fresh flowers and plums, drifting from the market outside. As the perfume settles, you are at the ocean and the smell of wet vetiver refreshes the air. Amber and patchouli gently warm the chill ocean breeze. Dia Man is the scent of an iconoclast - someone who cherishes luxury, yet has an undeniable sense of adventure.
Amouage’s Fate explains the uncertainty of the future and the universal principles by which the order of things is inescapably prescribed. Fate Man is one of those unique perfumes where you just have to try to understand. It opens up with a burst of absinthe and herbs through the middle notes of immortelle, wrapped in the most luxurious frankincense. The dry-down ends up with cedar and licorice to bring this dazzling perfume to an ellegant close. Despite being labeled as macho, Fate Man is a true sharable fragrance and if you are an Amouage-fan, this is a must-try. Fate Man is as forever-changing as the swirling colors on its rainbow coated flacon; the experience is slightly altered every time you wear it.
Through Gold Man, Amouage shows it understands that sometimes the softer the touch - the more sensual. Instead of bombarding with the typical emblems of a macho fragrance, Gold Man gently seduces with its blend of soft, deep, dark jasmine, rose and iris, grounded by civet, musk, ambergris and Omani's celebrated silver frankincense. A kick of patchouli and oakmoss brings to mind the classic scents of the ’30s. The overall feel of Gold Man is of mystery and luxury. The man who wears Gold is sophisticated and confident, and doesn't need to flaunt himself with his masculinity. We wouldn't rule out Gold for a type of femme fatale, either.
